Charlie Lee, the founder of Litecoin, posts a tweet containing a screenshot of a Reddit post in which he announces that he has sold all his LTC and donated the proceeds to the Litecoin Foundation.
Charlie justified this action by saying that he has been accused of manipulating Litecoin's price through his tweets. In his words: "whenever I tweet about Litecoin price or even just good or bad news, I get accused of doing it for personal benefit." He claims that he has never traded LTC before or after his major tweets.
Charlie says that he no longer owns a single LTC, besides his physical LTC coins. He also claims that the amount of coins he sold is much less than the daily volume of GDAX and his selling didn't crash the market.
At the time Charlie posted this tweet, Litecoin is at its all time high price of $360.
